Arc routing

Arc routing is a way of saving time and money when planning a route. It looks at the quickest, most efficient way to get from Point A to Point B. Instead of traveling in a straight line (which would usually be the fastest way to get somewhere), arc routing finds the shortest distance by going in curves and triangles, which save a lot of time and fuel. For example, if you wanted to get from Point A to Point B and there was a lake in the middle, arc routing would find you the shortest route around the lake instead of having you go in a straight line over it.
