Baikonur Cosmodrome

Baikonur Cosmodrome is a big place where rockets are launched into space. It's in a country called Kazakhstan, which is very far away from most other countries. It's like a big playground for really big rockets to play on.

There are lots of different places at Baikonur Cosmodrome, like a big building called the Vehicle Assembly Building where the rockets are put together. There's also a big launch pad where the rockets are placed before they are launched into space.

To get a rocket into space, it needs a lot of fuel. Baikonur Cosmodrome has big tanks of fuel called propellant tanks that the rockets use. Once the rocket is fueled up and ready to go, it takes off into the sky and travels through space to explore other planets or put satellites into orbit around the Earth.

All of this rocket technology is very cool, but it's also very complicated and needs a lot of special people to make sure everything goes smoothly. That's why there are lots of smart scientists and engineers who work at Baikonur Cosmodrome to make sure the rockets can fly safely into space.
