Banana belt

The "banana belt" is an area of the United States where it is usually warmer than the rest of the country. It is usually located in the south and parts of the west, and gets its nickname because it has a shape like a banana. In the banana belt it is typically warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer than the rest of the country. The banana belt includes states like Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and Hawaii.
