Barbecue grill

A barbecue grill is like a big metal box that people use to cook yummy food like hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken outside. It has a fire inside that gets really hot and turns the raw food into tasty, browned food.

First, you have to find a place outside where it's safe to light a fire. You put charcoal or wood inside the grill and light them up with matches or a lighter. Then you wait for the fire to get hot enough to cook on.

Next, you put the raw food on a special wire rack that sits on top of the grill. The heat from the fire cooks the food slowly and makes it taste really good. You can use special tongs to flip the food over so it gets cooked evenly on both sides.

Once the food is all cooked, you take it off the grill and put it on a plate. You can eat it right away with your family and friends outside.

But you have to be careful around the grill because it can get really hot and it might burn you if you touch it. It's also important to clean the grill after you use it so it's ready for the next time you want to cook.
