Bombing of Guernica

The bombing of Guernica happened a very long time ago in 1937 during a big war called the Spanish Civil War. Guernica was a small town in Spain, and it was bombed by a group of planes from another country called Germany. The planes dropped a lot of bombs on the town, and this made many buildings and houses go boom and get destroyed. A lot of people who lived in Guernica were also hurt and killed. The people who did this were fighting against the people who lived in Guernica because they wanted to control the town and the people who lived there. It was a very sad and scary time for the people of Guernica, and it is still remembered today as a terrible event in history.
