Buddhism and violence

Buddhism is a religion based on the teachings of a man named Siddhartha Gautama, who was born in India around 2,500 years ago. In Buddhism, people are taught to be kind to one another and to live a life of peace and kindness. Buddhists also believe in not causing any harm or violence to other people, animals, or the environment. So, this means that Buddhists try to avoid violence or fighting and instead work towards living in harmony with others.
