Burial vault (tomb)

Okay kiddo, so when someone dies, we usually bury them in the ground. But to keep them safe and protected, we put them in something called a burial vault, which is like a special box made of really strong materials like concrete, metal or plastic.

Think of it like a special house for your loved ones after they have passed away, to keep them safe and dry. It's also heavy and sturdy, so nothing can damage it, and it's designed to last a long time.

When the burial vault is buried in the ground, it helps to keep the ground from caving in, and it also makes it easier for people to visit their loved ones and place flowers on top without hurting the burial vault.

So, burial vaults are like special, protective boxes that we use to keep our loved ones safe and secure after they have passed away.
