Cajuns

Cajuns are a group of people that are descended from French Canadians who settled in Louisiana during the 1700s. These settlers were called Acadians and they brought with them their culture, language, and customs. Today, there are still many Cajuns living in Louisiana, and they are proud of their culture. They have their own language, called Cajun French, their own special dishes and food, their own music and traditional dancing, and a unique way of life. The Cajun culture can still be seen in many parts of Louisiana and surrounding states.
