ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Canadian nationalism

So, Canadian nationalism means that Canadians feel a strong connection to our country and are proud to be Canadian. We love Canada and all the things that make it special, like our maple leaf flag, hockey, and Tim Hortons! It's kind of like being part of a big team or family.

We also believe in things that are important to Canada, like our healthcare system, multiculturalism, and our bilingualism (which means we have two official languages, French and English). We like to celebrate our accomplishments and what makes us unique, while respecting and learning from different cultures and ideas.

Overall, Canadian nationalism is about embracing our shared history, values, and identity as Canadians. It's like being part of a big maple syrup-loving, hockey-playing, multicultural family!
