Car float

Car float is a type of boat that's really big and it can carry cars and other vehicles across a body of water. It looks like two long barges that are connected together. There is a ramp on the front that lets cars drive right onto the boat, and then a big metal door at the back that closes over the cars so they don't fall into the water. The car float uses powerful engines to push the boat through the water and eventually to the other side of the lake or river where the cars will drive off.
