Carbon neutral fuel

Okay kiddo, let's start with what "carbon" means. Carbon is a substance that's found all around us - it's in the air we breathe, the food we eat, and even in cars and other machines that run on fuel.

Now, some types of fuel are better for the environment than others. Carbon neutral fuel means a type of fuel that doesn't add any extra carbon into the air. That's important because too much carbon in the air can cause changes in the climate and damage the environment.

But how do we make fuel that's carbon neutral? One way is by using materials like plants to make the fuel. When plants grow, they soak up carbon from the air. So when we use those plants to make fuel, the carbon that was absorbed stays in the fuel instead of being released into the air. This makes the fuel carbon neutral!

Another way to make carbon neutral fuel is by using renewable energy sources like wind or solar power to create the fuel. This means we're not burning fossil fuels like oil or gas, which are bad for the environment because they release lots of carbon into the air when they're burned.

So there you have it, champ! Carbon neutral fuel is a type of fuel that doesn't harm the environment because it doesn't release extra carbon into the air. It's made by using materials that soak up carbon, or by using renewable energy sources to create the fuel.
