ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Cel

Okay kiddo, a cell is a tiny, tiny piece of our body that's so small you can't see it without a special tool. Think of it like a little building block that our body uses to make all sorts of things like skin, muscles, and even your brain!

Just like how we have a lot of different kinds of building blocks like legos and blocks, our body has different types of cells that do different jobs. Some cells carry oxygen around to the different parts of our body while other cells help fight germs and keep us healthy.

Cells are like little factories that have a lot of different parts inside of them. They use these parts to help make things that our body needs. Just like how a factory might have machines that help them make cars, cells have their own special machines that help them make important things.

Overall, cells are super important to our body and help us stay healthy and strong!
