Cellphone surveillance is when the police use special equipment to listen to or watch things that you do on your cellphone. For example, they can see what websites you visit or hear who you are talking to. It is like someone is looking over your shoulder or listening in to your conversations, but without your permission. It is not okay for the police or anyone else to do this because it is invading your privacy.
