Charter

Charter is like a special type of school. A charter school is run by a group of people, usually teachers and parents, who want to make a school that is different from most other schools. They decide what things will be taught in the school, and they decide who will teach the students. The students at charter schools usually have to apply and be accepted before they can go to the school.
