Chekism

Chekism is a type of government in which one person (a "leader") has complete control over all decisions. Usually, this person is appointed by the military or voted in by the people. In Chekism, the leader is expected to make all the decisions without any outside influence. This can lead to bad choices and oppressive policies. In some cases, Chekism can lead to corruption, human rights abuses, and a lack of economic development.
