Child care

Child care is when a responsible adult looks after a child while their parents or guardians are away. This could be done in a child care center, or in the home of the adult that is looking after the child. The adult that is looking after the child is responsible for making sure the child is safe, healthy and happy by playing with them, helping them learn new things, and providing meals and snacks.
