Circular reasoning

Circular reasoning is when you use the same idea to explain itself instead of using other evidence to explain why something is true. It's like when someone says "I'm good at sports because I'm athletic". The person is saying they are good at sports because they are athletic, but that doesn't explain why they are good at sports or why they are athletic. That's circular reasoning.
