Civil Air Patrol

Civil Air Patrol is a group of grown-ups who come together to help keep us safe in the air. They wear uniforms like firefighters and police officers to show that they are part of a special team.

They use airplanes and other special equipment to do things like search for people who might be lost, take pictures of damage after a natural disaster, and help with transportation when it is needed.

If you ever need help, like if you are lost in the woods or stuck in a flood, you can call for their help and they will do their best to come and rescue you.

They also teach kids all about flying and how to be safe in the air. They show us how to use maps and special equipment to find things and keep track of where we are. Civil Air Patrol is cool!
