Clambake

A clambake is like a big party where people cook and eat clams and other yummy food! First, people dig a big hole in the sand and make a fire in it to heat up some big rocks. Then, they put clean seaweed on top of the rocks and put a bunch of clams and other seafood on top of the seaweed.

Next, they cover everything with more seaweed and a big tarp or cloth to trap in the steam. The heat from the rocks and fire cooks the clams and seafood inside the tarp. Finally, everyone gathers around and helps dig up the steaming hot food! It's so delicious and fun to eat with friends and family. Yummy!
