Color temperature is a way of measuring how warm or cool a light looks. A 'warm' light usually looks like a yellow or orange color, while a 'cool' light looks like a white or blue color. To measure color temperature, we use Kelvin (K) units. Low numbers in Kelvin mean the light is warmer or 'yellower', and high numbers are cooler or 'bluer'. For example, a flame is 2500K, and a bright sunny day is around 5500K.
