Combustion

Combustion is a process that happens when something burns. Burning is when something catches on fire and goes up in smoke. In a combustion process, fuel and oxygen mix together, and the oxygen helps the fuel to react and produce heat, light and smoke. In an engine, that heat is used to make the engine run.
