Fire

Fire is a process that happens when something burns, meaning it's turning from a solid into a gas. Fire is hot and gives off heat, light and smoke. When something is burning we say it is “on fire”. Fire is made when a material, like paper or wood, is heated so much that it produces flames and heat. This happens because the material has a lot of energy and it is releasing that energy when it burns.
