Comintern

The Comintern (short for Communist International) was a big club of people who believed in communism. Think of it like a special group where people who believe in the same thing get together and share their ideas.

The Comintern started a long time ago, in the 1910s, when many countries in the world were going through big changes. Some people were really unhappy with how things were going in their countries, and they thought communism was the solution.

Communism is when everyone works together to make things fair and equal for everyone. The Comintern wanted to spread the idea of communism all over the world so that everyone could live in a fair and equal society.

The Comintern helped to start communist movements in lots of different countries. They would send people to these countries to teach the locals about communism and how it could make their lives better.

But not everyone liked the Comintern's ideas. Some governments thought that communism was a bad thing and they didn't want it in their country. So there were some big arguments and fights between the Comintern and these governments.

In the end, the Comintern stopped working in the 1940s because things were changing in the world and the countries that supported communism didn't need as much help from the Comintern.
