Commerce raiding

Commerce raiding is a type of warfare were ships are used to attack or capture ships from an enemy's trade network. It happens during a war, so one country's navy might attack an enemy country's ships that are carrying goods or supplies. The attacking country's navy might also try to block enemy ports, so that the enemy can't use them for trading. The idea behind commerce raiding is to try and disrupt the enemy country's trade and make it harder for them to get supplies, or to damage their economy.
