Comparative Anatomy is a way to compare the features of different animals and/or plants. By comparing the anatomy of different species - things like the shapes of their bones and the placement of their organs - we can understand how different animals and plants evolved over time and how they are related to each other. It's like looking at living fossils in a way: we can compare the anatomy of a giraffe today to a dinosaur from millions of years ago, and see the similarities and differences.
