Comparative government

Comparative government is a type of study where you compare the different governments of different countries. It looks at how different governments work, and how they are the same or different. For example, a study of comparative government might compare how the government in the United States works with the government in Sweden. It might look at how they each make laws, how they each handle taxes, and how the citizens of each country participate in the government. People who study comparative government are interested in understanding how the different governments work and in understanding what makes each government unique.
