Computer forensics

Computer forensics is the process of using special methods and tools to gather, analyze and preserve digital information from computers, cell phones, tablets and other digital devices. Computers forensics specialists use their expertise to help law enforcement and other organizations find out what happened on a digital device, like if a crime was committed or a mistake was made. To do this they look for digital evidence, like emails, documents, pictures and videos. They use this evidence to figure out who was responsible and to prove that something happened. The result is a report with all the evidence which is used in court.
