Computer-generated imagery (CGI) is a kind of digital art. It is when computers are used to make pictures and animations, just like a regular artist might use a pen and paper. CGI is used for movies, TV shows, video games and even advertisements. To make a CGI picture or animation, the artist has to use special software and programming. They might create a 3D model of something by inputting its shape, color, and texture, and then tell the computer how to move it around and show it from different angles. By doing this, they can create amazing scenes and animations that look like they’re real!
