Conscientious objector

A conscientious objector is someone who thinks it is wrong to go to war, or do something related to war, like joining the military. They feel like it is wrong because they don't think the reasons for going to war make sense, or they don't think it is right to hurt people. Instead, they choose to do something else that is against the law, like go to jail or do community service, instead of participating in war.
