Conservatism in Canada is when people believe in less government, less taxes, and more individual freedoms. This means that the government has less control over our lives and we have more ability to make decisions for ourselves and our families. Conservatives want to keep government spending lower so that taxes can also be lower for all citizens. Conservatives also believe in law and order, a strong military, and traditional values like marriage and religion.
