Containment means putting something in a place to stop it from leaving or spreading. For example, when we go to the swimming pool, we put our things in a locker to contain them so they don't get lost. Or when we play a snowball fight outdoors, we put a wall or fence around the area to contain the snowballs so they don't fly away or get outside of the safe play area. Containment is helpful because it makes sure things stay where they should and don't cause any safety risks.
