Copycat crime

Copycat crime is when someone sees or hears about a crime happening and then decides to do the same thing. For example, if someone sees a person on the news who robbed a store, another person could decide to copy that person and rob a store too. It is like copying someone else's behavior, which is why it is called copycat crime.
