Corn syrup

Corn syrup is a sweet, sticky syrup made from corn. To make corn syrup, corn is cooked in water and then it is processed in a way that sugars are taken out of it. The sugars are then turned into a thick, sweet syrup. Corn syrup is used as a sweetener in lots of different foods and drinks, like candy, ice cream, and soda.
