Cross-selling

Cross-selling is a way of offering customers products or services that are related to what they are already buying. To make this easier to understand, let's use an example. Imagine you are buying a new TV. The person selling you the TV might ask if you want to buy a DVD player to go with it. That is an example of cross-selling. It is a way for the seller to make more money by selling you more than just the TV, and in this case, something that would be useful to have.
