DNA repair

DNA repair is like cleaning a messy room. In a messy room there's a lot of things out of place. To fix it, you have to put things back in their right spots. DNA repair is like that, but it's tiny things called molecules that need to be put back in the right spot. That’s because our bodies are made of cells, and inside those cells is something called DNA that looks like a ladder. Sometimes, when a cell gets old or is hurt by something, parts of that ladder get messed up and need to be fixed. DNA repair is what helps fix those messed up pieces so the body stays healthy.
