ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Day of Silence

So, a Day of Silence means that people choose not to talk on purpose. It's a way to show support for people who might be bullied or treated unfairly because of their gender, sexuality, or the way they look.

Just like when we play a game of "Quiet Mouse," we don't talk so that we don't disturb others, on this day, people don't talk all day to bring attention to how important it is to treat everyone with kindness and respect. It's a way to stand up for people who might not always have a voice and show that we are all equal and deserve to be treated with kindness and love.
