Demand reduction

Demand reduction means using less of something. It's a way to help protect our environment. For example, it could mean taking shorter showers to help conserve water, taking public transit to work instead of driving a car, or turning lights off when you don't need them. These are all ways to reduce the demand we put on our resources.
