Depraved-heart murder is when someone does something very dangerous that they know could kill someone, and then someone actually dies because of it. It's like if you were playing with a toy that you knew could hurt someone and you kept doing it even though you knew it was dangerous, and then someone got hurt really badly or died. It's a really serious crime because it means someone didn't care about other people's safety and they still did something that was very risky.
