ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Drawbridge

Drawbridges are bridges that can be opened or closed, like a gate. They're useful for keeping people and vehicles away from certain areas like a fort, so that no one can get in who isn't allowed. This is like a pretend castle with a real bridge. When it's closed, the bridge is up and no one can get across, but when it's opened, you can drive or walk across it.
