Drug intolerance

Okay, so there are some substances that we put in our bodies to help us feel better when we are sick or when we have pain. We call these substances "drugs". Now, sometimes our bodies don't like these drugs or they make us feel bad instead of better. When this happens, we say that someone has a "drug intolerance".

It's kind of like when you eat something that doesn't taste good to you, like broccoli. Maybe it makes you feel sick or gives you a tummy ache. Your body is telling you that it doesn't like that food. It's the same with drugs. Some people's bodies just don't like certain drugs and they can have side effects like feeling dizzy, having a rash or even trouble breathing.

When this happens, it's important to tell a doctor or nurse so they can try to find a different way to help make you feel better. They will ask you what kind of symptoms you have and might do some tests to figure out what is causing the problem. It's important to remember that everyone's body is different, and what works for one person might not work for another.

So, to sum it all up, drug intolerance is when someone's body doesn't like a certain drug and it makes them feel bad instead of better. It's important to tell a doctor or nurse so they can help find a different way to make you feel better.
