E-waste

E-waste is all the things we use and then throw away that use electricity. This includes things like old computers and smartphones, as well as things like TVs, microwaves and old activities like video games. These things often have pieces inside them made from special materials that can be harmful if not disposed of properly. To help keep us safe, it's important to recycle our e-waste so these materials can be processed safely. This means all our old electronic devices should be taken to a recycling center and not just thrown away in the trash.
