Earth cooling tubes

Okay kiddo, you know how sometimes it gets really hot outside and you start to feel hot and sweaty? Well, the Earth feels that way too sometimes, but not just on the surface, it can be hot underneath it too!

That's where cooling tubes come in. Think of them like straws that we put underground. When it's hot outside, we send cold water through the tubes and that cold water cools down the ground around it.

You know how when you put an ice pack on your skin it feels nice and cool? That's the same idea. By cooling down the ground around the tubes, the air around it also gets cooler. And that means we can have cooler air inside buildings, without having to use as much energy to make it cool.

So, cooling tubes are like secret straws we bury in the ground to make the Earth cooler and more comfortable for us to live in. Pretty cool, huh?
