Empire

Empire is when one country rules over other countries. It's like a very large family with one powerful parent in charge. The parent country makes rules and decisions that all of the countries in the family have to follow. Usually the parent country is larger and more powerful than the other countries in the family. The parent country also often has armies that are bigger and better-trained than the other countries in the family, which helps them stay in charge.
