Evaluation is when you look at something, like a project or an activity, and judge whether it was good or bad. For example, your teacher might look at a project you did in class, and decide whether or not it was a good job. They'll look at how well the project was done (did you follow the instructions?) and how much effort you put into it. They might also talk to you about how you felt about it, and what you learned. Evaluation helps people decide if an activity was successful or not.
