Okay, kiddo, so when grown-ups need help figuring out complicated things, they sometimes ask other grown-ups who are really smart and know a lot about that thing. That really smart grown-up is called an "expert".
Now, sometimes these experts are brought to a place called a "court" where people go when they can't agree on something. The people in the court want the expert to tell them what they think about the thing they can't agree on. This is called "expert testimony".
The expert gets asked lots of questions about the thing they know a lot about, and they use their knowledge to explain it to the people in the court. The people in the court listen very carefully to what the expert says, because they trust that the expert knows what they're talking about.
So, expert testimony is when a really smart grown-up called an expert goes to court to help people figure out complicated things.
