The Fall of Man is a story from the Bible's Book of Genesis. It tells the story of how Adam and Eve, the very first people, disobeyed God and ate a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, which God had forbidden them to eat. Because they disobeyed God, they were both punished. Adam and Eve were sent out of the Garden of Eden, away from all the wonderful things they enjoyed, and they had to live a hard life. They were separated from God and each other, and because of their sin all of us have had to suffer. This is what is meant by the Fall of Man.
