Fanaticism

Fanaticism means being really passionate and devoted to something. For example, if someone loves a certain sports team, they might be a fan of that team. They might follow the team's games and talk about the team a lot. Being a fan is one kind of fanaticism. Another kind of fanaticism is when someone is obsessed with a subject, like reading or art. They may spend a lot of time learning about it and doing activities related to it.
