Field (physics)

Fields are like invisible forces that are everywhere - like an invisible blanket. They can be positive or negative, and different kinds of fields react in different ways. In physics, a field is an area where some kind of force is active. For example, electric fields are where electricity is active and can push or pull on things. Magnetic fields are where magnetism is active, and these can attract or repel things. Gravity fields are where gravity is active and can pull things together.
