Foundations of statistics

Foundations of statistics is a way of making sense of a lot of information. It helps to sort through and organize collections of data and make decisions by using a systematic approach. Statistics is also a way of predicting outcomes based on the analysis of past or current data. For instance, a company might use statistics to figure out what percentage of their customer base is likely to buy a product in the future. In general, statistics uses mathematics and probability to allow us to figure out what is likely to happen in the future based on trends in the past.
