Fourth generation warfare

Fourth generation warfare is a type of conflict where two or more groups are fighting for control of government or resources. It usually involves civilians and a certain amount of secrecy. It is different from traditional warfare because it uses unconventional tactics and weapons, like using social media to spread political messages or using terrorist attacks to intimidate the enemy. In fourth generation warfare, the goal is not to destroy the enemy but to win over the enemy's population so they become more sympathetic to your cause. This is known as winning "hearts and minds."
